What we’re doing…

Equipment

We’re raising money to help purchase equipment. We’re also coordinating with hospitals throughout Scotland to make sure that equipment that is no longer needed isn’t wasted but instead can be repurposed in Malawi.

Training

We’re running monthly live teaching sessions for the orthopaedic clinical officers in the region. These have been organised so that they can easily be accessed by mobile phone.

Research

Data is power. We’re gathering together as much information as possible about trauma and orthopaedic injuries and management in the region. We hope to use this information to gather more funding from big funders and government agencies.
