Project Kuyenda Charity Gala 2025
After the incredible success of last year's gala, where we raised an astounding £27,500, we are thrilled to invite you to an even grander celebration this year! Project Kuyenda is a charity run by a team of Edinburgh orthopaedic surgeons dedicated to the sustainable improvement of orthopaedic care in Mzuzu, Northern Malawi, and your support makes a real difference.
This year's gala promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with elegance and excitement. Held at the prestigious 5-star Prestonfield House Hotel, you will enjoy a night of exquisite dining and top-notch entertainment. Dance the night away with a lively ceilidh band, try your luck with our raffle, and bid on fantastic items in our auctions.
Don't miss this opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while enjoying a fabulous evening in one of Edinburgh's most beautiful settings. Mark your calendar, gather your friends, and join us for a night to remember!
While we welcome single and small group ticket bookings we would ask that you please book your tickets in tables of 8-12. Follow the link below for tickets:

July Visit
Two of the orthopaedic trainees from Edinburgh - Joe Esland and Rosie Hackney - will be going to visit the Mzuzu unit again to keep an eye on some of the projects we have going on and to see if there is anything else the local team feel we could help with.
Project Kuyenda Ball
Come to one of the top social events of the year and help raise money for a great cause at the same time! This should be a fantastic evening of food, drinks, dancing, games, auctions and much more. All the proceeds go directly to Project Kuyenda so just by turning up you are helping treat patients in Malawi.
